She earned a Bachelor of Science in Cell and Molecular Biology from Winona State University and a medical degree from the University of Central Florida College of Medicine in Orlando, FL. Following this, Dr. Barbulescu completed a two-year research fellowship in immunodermatology, focusing on hair loss.
